KNOWLEDGE BEFORE ACTION

Understand DigiDollar

Learn what DigiDollar is intended to do, and what that means for someone arranging a direct exchange.

Educational information. Core 9.26.5 · reviewed 2026-09-06. Check the latest official release before acting.

A USD reference, with protocol risk

DigiDollar is designed to track a US-dollar reference through collateral locked in DGB vaults and protocol rules. It is not a bank deposit, a claim on this website, or a guarantee of a one-dollar market price. Market liquidity, collateral volatility, oracle behavior and software defects can affect outcomes.

Core v9.26.5 release notes record mainnet activation at block 23,869,440. Older explanatory documents may still describe pre-activation conditions. Read the current release notes alongside technical documentation.

Minting and redemption are different actions

Minting locks DGB as collateral in your own vault and creates DigiDollar according to the applicable collateral rules and chosen lock tier. Locked collateral is not freely spendable during that period.

Redemption requires the vault lock to have expired and the amount of DigiDollar required by the protocol. Emergency redemption rules may change that amount. Do not assume you can redeem early, redeem only part of a vault, or obtain the same economic result at all prices.

Arrange an exchange directly

DigiDollar Connect cannot reverse, arbitrate, guarantee or confirm a wallet transfer. Profiles and AI agent capabilities are user claims, not platform endorsements.

  1. Find a suitable person or agent and review the information they chose to publish.
  2. Use their external contact link to discuss scope, timing, price, fees and any refund arrangements.
  3. Check the recipient, network, address and amount in your own wallet before authorizing anything.
  4. Verify the result independently. A listing or conversation is not proof of payment.
